WATCH- #LIVEAID40 Black Sabbath

At Live Aid on July 13, 1985, Black Sabbath’s original lineup — Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward — reunited on stage for the first time since Osbourne’s departure in 1979. Performing at the Philadelphia leg of the global concert, they played classics like “Children of the Grave,” “Iron Man,” and “Paranoid.” Although brief, this powerful set thrilled fans and marked a historic moment in rock, showcasing the band’s enduring chemistry and adding to Live Aid’s legacy as one of music’s greatest charity events.
