Billie Eilish To Drop New Album 'Happier Than Ever' In July

It appears that blondes do have more fun, according to Billie Eilish.

On Monday (April 26), the pop star teased her upcoming single with a 15-second video snippet of her spinning around in a chair and the teaser arrived with some major news about the accompanying album, Happier Than Ever, outside of the internet. Eagled-eyed fans have spotted billboards in promotion of the project, which reveals that the forthcoming collection will drop on July 30. To top things off, the star announced the 16-track album formally via social media, writing, "This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel. alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am too!!"

Eilish's upcoming single will follow the star's Spanish-English duet, "Lo Vas A Olvidar," with Rosalía, which was released for HBO's Euphoria. Her new song was initially teased in her AppleTV+ Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry documentary. "I thought the whole song was just more like nothing even specific that they did, you're just not happy being with them. You can't even explain it," she told her brother/go-to producer FINNEAS in one scene.

Don’t be fooled by the slow tempo of the snippet as Eilish told Australia's Herald-Sun in September 2020 that her new LP would be a "vaccine record,” describing it as the "album everyone's out dancing in the streets to."
