AXS-TV to Air Documentaries on Music's Unsung Heroes

AXS-TV is airing a curated collection of documentaries in its new weekly show, “Into the Spotlight: True Stories of Music’s Unsung Heroes.”

“Into the Spotlight” is a celebration of the little-known figures who had a big impact on music and will run every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET starting September 29th.

The series begins with “Twenty Feet From Stardom,” which is a profile of backup singers like Darlene Love, Judith Hill, Merry Clayton, and Lisa Fischer.

The episode will also feature interviews with Mick Jagger, Sheryl Crow, Sting, and Bruce Springsteen.

The event continues with “Sound City” on October 6, produced and directed by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
